Pay: $24-$28/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm (possible Saturdays)

Summary:
Oversees and coordinates daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and order-picking activities to ensure timely, accurate and safe operations. Lead warehouse staff in all warehouse/shipping/receiving duties. Receives, ships, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
  • Direct warehouse personnel in all shipping, receiving, inventory, and order picking tasks, ensuring adherence to company procedures.
  • Reads production schedule, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Verify incoming/outgoing loads against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips for accuracy and condition.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Inspects incoming shipments for accuracy, quality and potential damage. Report breakage, damage or losses promptly and initiate recovery actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including preparing shipping documents, invoices and bills of lading.
  • Properly package items for shipment to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. Label packages clearly with shipping information.
  • Schedule and coordinate the shipment of goods with carriers. Follow up on any delays or issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring that items are stored in designated areas and that the workspace is free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve and shipping or receiving issues, providing updates on shipment statuses and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and/or hand trucks.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, ISO standards and safety protocols.
  • Uses computer to enter records. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
