Pay: up to $27 DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10 hour 7:00am-5:00pm shifts & possible 8-hour shifts on Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm.

Job Details:

MUST have FLUX CORE welding experience.
NO PER DIEM or travel pay.

Structural Steel Test:

3G Vertical weld test coupon.
Two carbon steel plates 6” x 12” x 1/2”.
FCAW - Dual shield, flux core process.
Welder will bevel plate.
Open root beveled groove weld.
Root to be ground out and stringer pass made after front side completed.
Stringer bead root and caps no weaving.

Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of structural components.
Measure and mark materials for welding using various tools and equipment.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Clean and maintain welding equipment and work area.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a structural welder.
Proficient in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys used in structural welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
